Mastering the Marine Boot Camp

Marines (taken from the origin of the term which means to or of the sea) are land-based soldiers under the command of the navy wing. Other countries do not use the term 'marine' and substitute it with other terms such as naval infantry. The primary objectives of the marines include rendering services aboard warships, assisting the crew of the ship in battles, boarding enemy ships, conducting small coastal raids and serving as a landing force. They are generally known as elite, highly-mobile and most dependable amphibious armed force.

The training of marine forces around the world has been heralded as one of the most difficult owing to the more demanding and difficult missions marines embark on. Every marine is expected to have wide-ranging capabilities, which include specialization in amphibious assaults and being adept with the use of infantry, armor, aircraft, and watercraft.

The marine boot camps in different parts of the globe provide different and varied ways in training prospective Marine Corps member.

The marine boot camp training to be a member of the Royal Marines in UK is the longest in the world as it is 32 long weeks of hard training at the Commando Training Centre Royal Marines (CTCRM) at Lympstone, Devon.

The marine boot camp in Chile, which trains future Infanteria de Marina de Chile members, provides training with focus on tactics and the use of state of the art equipment while Chinese marine boot camps give key trainings such as parachuting and amphibious warfare exercises for its troops. South Korean marines boasts of a marine boot camp that provides competitive training especially in ground battles, special fighting scenarios, facility protection and security services while the Philippine's marine boot camp trains its soldiers to be capable in dealing with urban warfare and in defending important installations.

just a short video showing my new MacBook Pro with Retina Display running Battlefield 3 at various resolutions (recorded with fraps) Specs: 2.3 GHz Quad i7 8GB RAM 256GB SSD 1GB Nvidia GT 650M Boot Camp Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit 55-60fps on 1440x900 Auto 40-50fps on 1920x1200 Auto less than 10fps on 2880x1800 Auto The graphics driver used is the only one available at the moment for the GT 650M on the retina display. It gets downloaded through the Boot Camp assistant along with the Nvidia driver program which checks for the latest driver. If I ever get a license key, I'll make a multiplayer video but I've already invested 0 into BF3 for xbox (game+premium) so it's unlikely. ***UPDATE VIDEO*** www.youtube.com This video shows the noise of the fans and fps **Click here to see temperature readings! s393.photobucket.com
