Pakistan: Solana Visits Swat Valley Refugees

Source: Europe by Satellite / Council of the European Union EU High Representative Javier Solana on Monday paid a visit to the Jalozai IDP camp in Pakistan. The camp holds internally displaced people from the Swat Valley who sought refuge last month as the Pakistan government launched its offensive against Taliban insurgents. The camp, one of the 150 largest in the country, is approximately 35 kilometers southwest of Peshawar. It was initially built during the 1980s during house refugees from Afghanistan during the Soviet occupation. The visit to the Jalozai camp is Solana's first stop on a two-day official visit to Pakistan. As EU foreign policy chief, he's seeking ways to help alleviate the humanitarian situation that is caused by Pakistan's efforts to take on the Taliban in the Swat valley. Solana said the European Union is making available 150 million euro to relieve the plight of the IDP's in Pakistan. Close to two million people are internally displaced in Pakistan. Tens of thousands started returning home in recent days as the government began to implement the first phase of its repatriation plan. Solana's visit to Pakistan takes place following the first-ever EU-Pakistan summit on 17 June in Brussels.

Wenn man schonmal in Heidekrug ist kann man ja auch gleich spontan das Training dort filmen. Scheinbar waren an diesem Tag nämlich gleich mehrere Teams dort und einer von denen war so nett und hat mir seine GBB geliehen *freu* Keks hatte also auch einmal das Vergnügen mitspielen zu dürfen, hat aber dennoch nicht aufs Filmen verzichtet. Aus Mangel an Multi-Tasking Skills war sein Spielstil aber vermutlich mehr als schlecht ^.^ Bei 5°C wollte die Pistole nicht so richtig, aber man hatte mich ja gewarnt ^^ Nach jedem Schuss nachladen zu müssen erinnert mich irgendwie an alte Zeiten *träum* Ähmmm ja, also etwas ganz neues ausprobiert, mich würde auch interessieren was ihr davon haltet. Wenn ihr also kurz in die Kommis schreibt ob ihr das zukünftig auch noch wollt oder ob das nun megagrottenschlechtundlangweilig war + Begründung wäre ich euch sehr verbunden ;) Puhh ich glaube das wird ne Lange Videobeschreibung. Die Interviews habe ich mal aus Spaß an der Freude reingenommen, ich hab nen Neues Handmikro getestet und probiert ob ich mit nem Laptop und zig Adaptern im Rucksack ne Mobile Aufnahme hinbekomme.
