Detecting Around a Castle and POW Camp

I was lucky enough to be invited up to Featherstone Castle to detect the surrounding fields. Nearby there was the remains of a POW camp which housed up to 25000 German and Italian soldiers in WWI and WWII. Proper full-on Nazis were there for 'denazification'. The history of the castle can be found here: en.wikipedia.org I was using the 'Roman site pattern' from minelab with +3 sensitivity for most of the trash free parts of the site. The sensitivity was reduced for areas with more trash targets (rusted iron). Many thanks to Steve who invited me up. Give his channel a view - there are some excellent shooting and fieldsports videos on there. He will soon be uploading metal detecting videos to the channel also: www.youtube.com Thanks for watching. Want more? - Subscribe.
